Rooms at Hotel Occidental Playa Turquesa
The Hotel Playa Turquesa offers 531 rooms surrounded by exuberant gardens, divided in villages of 1 and 2 storeies with all the necessary comforts for a pleasant and pleasurable stay.
The rooms are big, roomy and very clean, decorated with brilliant colors. Big bathroom and a beautiful terrace in the back part where it has two rockers.
The buildings are nestled among trees and each balcony is very private.
The Hotel Playa Turquesa has 504 estándar rooms, 100 of them with Queen size beds and 404 with double beds, among them 4 rooms for disabled guests; 6 suites and 21 familiar rooms; each one with two inner rooms sharing a common bathroom.
The clothes closet is very large, and more than adequate. It had separate his and hers sides with built-in shelving and louvered doors.
An almost full-length oval mirror is on the wall opposite the closet. The in-room safe, which is included free with the all-inclusive package, is located inside the closet on an upper shelf.
Next to the desk stand a table with lamp and next to that a sofa/daybed.
There was also a separate chair in the other corner and several wall mounted lamps with two-way switches so you didn’t need to get out of bed to turn off the lights.
The bathroom is spacious with an interesting layout, with three seperate areas, sink in one, shower in one and the toilet in the other. When you walk into the bathroom, the toilet is in a separate area with a locking door next to the shower area, which also had a locking door.
Access to the balcony is via a heavy sliding door, which did not have a screen.
On the balcony is a small tiled table and two rocking chairs with canvas slings as the sitting part- sort of like rocking deck chairs and amazingly comfy.
All are equipped with 220 Volt Outlet, Air Conditioning, Baby's Cot (on request), Bathroom (ensuite), Double Beds, Hair-dryer, Hot & Cold Water, In-room Safe, Minibar, Satellite TV, Telephone, Terrace or Balcony and Twin Beds.
